Carpet Burn Cup – Rails

25 Mar

Last night saw round 3 of the carpet Burn Cup, with some new winners and some no shows the leader board is looking very close.

Stand out junior of the night was Nathan who pulled a 360 on, 180, 180 out off on mals box gaining himself a first place.  Grant has been putting is some practice time recently and it showed with Grant busting some new tricks and gaining himself a gold, Angus took second in front of Matt putting Angus and Matt tied second place overall.  In what is proving to be a competitive under 10’s skiing category Keilan took first place moving up the leader board into 2nd overall behind Finlay with only one point between all top four positions.  In the female skiing Ella increased her lead with a second gold of the series – Emma, Ruby and Erin will be battling it out until the end of the series for those final positions.  I have yet to hear about the battle of the adults, I’ll update when I hear what went down.

With few points in it everything is still to play for in the series.    There are three rounds left, slalom, big air and finally skier / boarder X so there is something for everyone in there.

Well done to all competitors, better get those edges sharpened for the next round – 21st April.

There is some video footage of the night which is being edited right now so watch this space for the footage.

You can see the full listing of results here Carpet Burn Cup Leader Board or as usual on the noticeboard at the centre.
